Man Raises 4 Chicks Inside Bird Nest Hair
Jamall Bomeo has 9 foot long dreadlocks, bundled casually on top of his head. “It’s been that way for as long as I remember,” said his friend Razna Modavia. “I shave my head once a week, with a tight fade personally, but I do like the look of Jamall’s locks. I gotta say though, I noticed something funky going on in there. Sometimes I smell it, but this time, I heard it. I was like yo Jamall whatchu got going on in there? We weeded around for a while and there was a whole birds nest inside there and like 52 french fries, they was snackin’ on.”
Jamall was embarrassed at first, but as the scared young birds took to the edge of the nest, they took a leap of faith – making their very first flights. This changed his tune: “I’m happy to think my own hair could provide shelter to these kid birds, I mean, here Tweedy, come on back and get yourself a fry and a Big Mac, okay.”
We followed up later that year with his friend Razna who added, “The birds kept coming back for French fries, like they got nicotine in them. The birds got so comfortable, Jamall kept letting them stay. Over the next few months, the birds grew to be adults, and started mating with other birds. They started laying more eggs in the hairdo, and those birds hatched and grew.” Razna looked around for a while, then snuffled as he said, “He got like 15 of ‘em in there now. It’s not good. He used to be a good wing-man at the clubs, but now the girls are just scared of him. Don’t know how he sleeps with all that chirping goin on.”
